RACINE, WI (CBS 58) -- Camryn Thomas-Walker of the The Cavon Walker Collection joined CBS 58 in studio for a segment on Racine & Me.
Walker says he started sewing in 2013-2014 and would often customize brims on baseball caps and change the fabric on the brim.
His own collection began with a $12 idea when his best friend got marred and he wanted a different tie than what came with his tuxedo.
He shopped around for different ties and bow ties, but found they could be extremely pricey.
So, Camryn decided to create an affordable solution. His grandmother showed him how to make a proper tie, and then inquiries started coming in.
Eventually, he created a matching vest tot he tie and now has sets and other items in his inventory.
