RACINE, WI (CBS 58) -- Beth Heidorn and Madison Fales from the Racine Zoo joined us with an adorable animal friend and discussed many upcoming events. 

Wild for Wine: 

Saturday, March 4, 6PM – 9PM

Join Racine Zoo for their fundraising event for the care of their eastern black rhinos, Timu and Kianga, and the conservation of their wild counterparts! While supporting these amazing rhinos, you can enjoy an exquisite wine selection, delectable five-course catered dinner, being greeted by an animal ambassador, a presentation all about rhinos by an Animal Care Specialist, a silent auction, and more! Must be 21 or older to attend. Zoo Member: $85, Zoo Non-Member: $95, Zoo Member Non-Drinking: $75, Zoo Non-Member Non-Drinking: $85.

All Racine Zoo camps include up-close encounters with our animals, daily crafts, snacks, and plenty of hands-on learning about our animals, wildlife, and the environment. From feeding giraffes to meeting zookeepers, each day of Zoo Camp is full of fun and adventure. Give your child the experience of a lifetime and sign them up for Racine Zoo’s Spring Break Camp today! A Round For Rhinos Golf Outing:

Shotgun start at 2pm

Meadowbrook Country Club

Join Racine Zoo for their annual 9-hole charity golf outing at Meadowbrook Country Club on June 19 with a shotgun start at 2pm. Proceeds benefit daily needs and veterinary care of the animals at the Racine Zoo. Tickets include 9 holes of golf, complimentary cart, animal ambassador encounter, interactive games on the course, delicious dinner, 50/50 raffle, 2 cigars per guest, and more! $200 per person.
