A boost in temperatures despite the lack of sunshine
It was a 50/50 weekend with clouds and some showers on Saturday then sunshine and 50s on Sunday. The 60s return Monday with highs in the upper 50s to around 60 and back above-average. It's also going to be breezy with gusts out of the southeast to 20 mph.
The bigger story on Monday is the return of rain with a few isolated showers possible on Monday. There will be lots of dry time and while some communities could get a downpour other communities might not get any rain at all.
Tuesday and Wednesday will see slightly better chances for rain but not quite likely yet. Both days should still have some dry time with a chance for storms Tuesday and a chance for showers on Wednesday. Looking beyond the next three days Thursday might be out best chance for showers this week and some soaking rain.
While most of the rain chances this week look light, it is going to add up. Rain totals by the end of Friday will top 1-2" in most hometowns.
