Rain chances return to the forecast Wednesday night through Thursday

NOW: Rain chances return to the forecast Wednesday night through Thursday
NEXT:

Our first good rain chance since the weekend starts Wednesday night and lasts through Thursday. Going into the chance for rain we are sitting at 8.94" of rainfall for the month of August after all of the flooding rains over two weeks ago. We just need 0.12" of rain in order to break the record for the wettest August on record.

The rain chance will start around 10 PM Wednesday night with scattered showers likely most of Wednesday night through Thursday morning. A few downpours or rumbles of thunder will be possible, otherwise the rain looks mostly like some scattered light to moderate showers. The best chance for rain is during Thursday morning but an isolated shower/storm could be possible Thursday afternoon.

Rain totals don't look super high for this evening with most seeing 0.10-0.25" of rain. Those that see downpours or some storms could get a half inch of rain. It will be very close on if Milwaukee will get enough rain to break the August rainfall record.
