Residents at Madison nursing home share love advice ahead of Valentine's Day

MADISON, Wis. (CBS 58) -- There's a saying, "listen to your elders" and it's because they're usually never wrong. Ahead of Valentine's Day, residents at Oak Park Place nursing home in Madison shared relationship advice we could all take to heart.   

From heartfelt to humorous, the advice from the residents has received a lot of love on social media. A post shared on Facebook has nearly 30,000 shares as of Wednesday morning, Feb. 12. 

One resident, Ellen, wrote: "Always smile at those you love."

Another resident, Allan, said: "Never go to bed angry."
