MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) – Don’t be surprised if two new flashy boats pass you by on the Milwaukee River this summer.
You can’t miss them. They’re called Laverne and Shirley.
One is a pink color and the other is baby blue. The boats are powered by electric engines and the maximum speed is five miles per hour.
A tour runs for an hour and 45 minutes.
“Looking for something for visitors or locals who want to get out on the water,” Boat MKE owner Redmond Tuttle said. “Cool option, especially with the history of the Milwaukee River.”
The boats can seat five people.
More information on reservations can be found on the Retro Boat MKE website.
