Woman found dead in Washington County home, Richfield man arrested

RICHFIELD, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The sheriff's office says further investigation has revealed the suspect fired shots at the victim during a domestic dispute in a camper trailer where the couple had been staying.
Officials say the suspect then went into a residence on the property and spoke with family members before the sheriff's office received an abandoned 911 call from the residence a little after 4 a.m.
Bond has been set at $750,000. Formal charges are pending.

RICHFIELD, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Washington County Sheriff's Office has taken a 41-year-old Richfield man into custody for the death of a 42-year-old Washington County woman.
Officials say an investigation began Thursday morning, Aug. 1, just after 4 a.m., when deputies were dispatched to a home in the 3500 block of Pleasant Hill for an abandoned 911 call.
The sheriff's office says upon arrival, deputies found the victim deceased. The suspect -who authorities say knew the victim- was arrested at the scene.
He remains in custody at the Washington County Sheriff's Office.
A homicide investigation is underway.
