MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A business hub born of unrest is a model for healing and fostering success for black-owned businesses in Milwaukee. And now, more than 3 years after it opened, the Sherman Phoenix continues to rise with the formation of a non-profit arm focused on empowering leaders of color.
On CBS 58 Sunday Morning, Kim Shine shared the philosophy and goals of Dr. Stacia Thompson, the foundation's first executive director.
