Shorewood Police investigating home burglary near Marion and Morris
SHOREWOOD, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Shorewood Police Department is currently investigating a home burglary.
It happened between 11:30 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. Sunday in the 1500 block of E. Marion Street.
According to police, the suspect entered the home through an unlocked front door.
There is currently no suspect in custody and the investigation remains ongoing.
Shorewood Police issued the following reminders to residents:
1. Lock your doors and windows.
2. If you have a security system, set and activate your alarm.
3. Consider adding motion activated security cameras or a video doorbell to your home.
4. Keep your homes well lit and keep up the appearance that someone is home at all times.
