A boost in temperatures despite the lack of sunshine
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- It’s a wet start to kick off the weekend. We saw storms and rain start to roll in around 4 AM Friday morning and besides a few brief breaks here and there it's stayed pretty consistent and will continue to do so. Expect the heavy rain and storms to last through the rest of the morning into the early afternoon. Some of us may start to dry out during the later afternoon and evening hours if you're looking to get outside.
Rain totals by the end of the day likely end up in the 0.50-1.50" range with some locations that see rounds of storms possibly getting even more.
After Friday's 100% chance for rain there is still a chance for rain over the weekend. Both Saturday afternoon/evening and Sunday have the chance for scattered storms. The weekend rain chance looks a bit better than it did yesterday but still not a knockout chance. Stay tuned to any changes to the forecast in the next 24 hours.
