CBS 58

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Did you know you can enjoy a bit of spookiness in Milwaukee long past Halloween? The Brumder Mansion has been known have spirits inside, making it a popular spot for paranormal investigators.

On Saturday, Nov. 9, you can take part in a public investigation of the mansion.

For years, during the 1920s and 30s, the basement of the mansion was a speakeasy frequented by popular gangster Al Capone. Julie Carr, the current owner of the house, says all of the spirits are friendly.

"Oh, they're all nice," said Carr. "They all were nice people when they were alive and they're nice people now. We have a little girl, Emma, who is full of mischief. She hides my stuff and turns on the air conditioner on the third floor."

The last Saturday of every month, you can catch a magic show in the basement turned theater by Two Brothers One Mind.
