The teen accused of killing two brothers in an attempted robbery will stand trial.
Several witnesses took the stand this afternoon including a West Allis Police Detective who read 14-year-old Spencer Lewis' confession to the courtroom.
"Spencer Lewis stated that he takes responsibility for robbing someone today, bringing a gun, and shooting people," said Detective Todd Kurtz.
Lewis is accused of shooting and killing Trajan Edwards and his older brother CJ in February.
Police say, Lewis and another teen plotted to steal drugs and money from the brothers.
"He was not planning to hurt Trajan Edwards today, and he only wanted to take his money and marijuana," said Detective Todd Kurtz "Spencer Lewis pointed the gun and stated he wanted the money. Trajan Edwards then tried to snatch the gun away from him, and he got scared."
According to police, Lewis needed money for expensive clothing.
Lewis will be back in court for a bail hearing in May.
