MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- An 18-year-old woman died Thursday, May 7, after crashing into a tree near 84th and Hampton in Milwaukee, according to police.

The victim was identified by the Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office Friday as Azariah Jones. 

The collision happened around 9:40 p.m. as the driver was traveling southbound on 84th St. The driver, who was alone in the vehicle, was taken to a hospital and pronounced dead despite lifesaving efforts.
