'Thanks A Million:' The Hop streetcar celebrates 1M riders with free coupon book

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Hop is celebrating a major milestone this week, as the streetcar welcomes its 1,000,000th rider on board. 

To celebrate, The Hop has partnered with a variety of downtown businesses on or near the route to produce a run of "Thanks A Million" coupon books, collectively containing over $1 million worth of deals. 

The free coupon books will be distributed to Hop riders beginning this Friday, Feb. 21 at noon and will continue while supplies last.

There will be 5,000 books available, each containing over $200 in value at participating downtown businesses.
