The Harley-Davidson Museum's latest acquisition includes model ridden by famed Mexican stunt rider
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Harley-Davidson Museum's collection recently grew with the addition of a 1957 Model FL ridden by famed Mexican stunt rider and racer Alfonso Sotomayor Canales. The latest acquisition will go on display beginning Friday, April 16.
Harley-Davidson's history in Mexico dates back to at least 1913, officials say.
Beginning April 16, guests can learn more about Sotomayor and Harley-Davidson's early entry into Mexico.
There will be a Virtual Gallery Talk on April 15 for a curator-lead exploration. Officials say this month's Virtual Gallery Talks will explore the history of trailblazing women riders and Harley-Davidson's fashions throughout the years.
Harley-Davidson also recently announced its patio dining has returned to MOTOR Bar & Restaurant.
