MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee is losing an east side music spot. 

The Jazz Estate, located on Murray Avenue, announced it will close June 27. The small club dates back to 1977 and the closing was announced in a Facebook post. 

The post cites several factors, including the rising cost of doing business and the changing habits of people in the post-Covid era. 

The announcement says, "We've worked hard to adapt, to pivot, to find a new rhythm but the math has caught up with us." 

The Jazz Estate will be open Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights until June 27.
