MILWAUKEE (CBS 58)--We have at least an opportunity to put a dent into the growing snowfall deficit. Right now, it's close to 20 inches! But in the next week, we have the chance of seeing at least two snowfalls with accumulation. Wednesday and Saturday are the two days in question. Very light snow could fall into early Tuesday. But it's the middle of the week and the first part of next weekend we're watching carefully.
Meantime, temperatures for highs will be in the 20s and 30s. Could even see some teens for daytime temperatures in about a week.
Starting Monday, we should have a better idea about accumulations at least for Wednesday. I could easily see a 1 to 3 inch range or even 2 to 4 inches. Stay tuned.
One weather milestone to pass along before I wrap this up. Sunday marked the last time, on average, we have a high of freezing. Starting Monday, the number goes to 33!
