Third Ward's dog-friendly Christmas photo shoot to raise money for MKE Dog Park

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- If you're looking for a place to take that perfect holiday picture of your dog, there's a dog-friendly photo shoot this Saturday, Dec. 18 in Milwaukee's Historic Third Ward.

From noon until 3 p.m. you can go down to Catalano Square -- 138 N. Broadway --  and pose your dog in front of the 40-foot Christmas tree.

They'll have Christmas props available if you need them.

Pete's Pops will be selling Pup Pops and Interval will provide warm drinks for purchase.

A minimum $10 donation is requested to raise money for downtown Milwaukee's first public dog park. The MKE Dog Park is a 12,000-square-foot space that will transform the west bank of the Milwaukee River on N. Plankinton Avenue and W. Clybourn Street.

Project organizers are looking to raise about $750,000 through donations and sponsorships.

Donations can be made onsite with cash, through the dog park website at www.MKEDogPark.com or with the Venmo app.

Digital images will be made available soon after the event.
