GREENDALE, Wis. CBS 58) -- Whether it was for the holiday season, family members, or themselves, hundreds of shoppers crowded into NuNu's Hot Bargains in Greendale on Friday to take advantage of the special deals.

Everything in store was $10 or less -- a price many said was too good to pass up.

For Mary Haul, Nov. 25 was her first time shopping on Black Friday.

"We were here at actually four o'clock this morning," Haul said. "I really needed to get these good discounts to get good things for Christmas."

Haul said her entire basket, filled with gifts for "the kids, the grandmas, and the babies," cost her about $160.

"I got diapers and wipes and baby furniture," Haul said. "Can't beat it."

Milwaukee resident Lisa Chambers waited in line for about an hour.

"I didn't expect to see none of this, I was like, 'Oh, it's gonna be a bunch of junk,' and then when I got in there I was like, 'okay!'" Chambers said. "I got a lot of gifts for everybody for Christmas, so I'm done with my Christmas shopping."

Chambers said her cart came out to just under $120.

"Normally this would be $200, $300 probably, what I got," Chambers said.

Store co-owner Chris Rafalski said even though people came out specifically for Black Friday, he sees large crowds on a daily basis.

"We brought in a couple more guys today just to hold up with everything going on," Rafalski said. "It's good to see people buy Christmas presents, get ahead of that, and get it for cheap, where it’s like $40, 50 bucks at the store, you can get it here for $10.”

Rafalski said even though he's seeing prices rise, employees are trying to keep total costs for customers as low as possible.

"It puts a smile on our staff’s faces too, just seeing everyone walk away with something they want or like," Rafalski said.
