MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The holidays are almost here, and while you may have your favorite staples to bake, it's always good to find new recipes.
You may find a new one in the We Energies Cookie Book that was just released.
They have been coming out with cookie books for 95 years, and this year it's featuring Wisconsin first responders.
Police, firefighters, and EMTs share their recipes along with stories from their service.
This morning, on Nov. 4, thousands of people grabbed a copy at American Family Field.
"What we hear from so many of our customers is they say this starts their holiday tradition. I mean literally they say that we wait for today and come with our family, we get your book, and we start baking and that kicks off our Christmas season," said Brendan Conway, We Energies spokesperson.
There is a new addition to the cookie book this year. Recipes for your dog!
Over 27,000 We Energies Cookie Books were handed out this morning.
