I-794 ramp reopens after five hour closure for overturned semi

All lanes of I-794 near the lakefront are back open after being closed for hours Saturday.

A semi took a turn too quickly just after 10:00 AM, causing it to overturn Saturday morning, the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office reports.

Cleanup efforts are completed and the truck has been hauled away.

Initial reports reveal that the driver complained of chest and back injuries, but they are not reported to be severe injuries.

The ramp reopened just before 3:00 PM.
