Union Grove man struck by hit-and-run driver while snow-blowing driveway
RACINE COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A 27-year-old Union Grove man was taken to a local hospital after he was hit by a car while snow-blowing his driveway.
According to the Racine County Sheriff's Office, the man was hit by a driver who did not stop around 11:45 p.m. Friday in the 3100 block of S. Colony Avenue.
The fleeing vehicle is described as a dark colored SUV or pickup with a cap. The fleeing vehicle also struck a traffic post which caused damage to their front end. The vehicle will also be missing a passenger side mirror which was left on scene.
The victim suffered injuries to his head and leg. He was taken to a local hospital for treatment and was later released.
