MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Most kids are looking forward to getting the gift they asked for at Christmas time, but there are some kids who might not be so lucky.
That's why what happened at a Boys & Girls Club in Milwaukee Friday, Dec. 3, was so special.
U.S. Cellular dropped off 400 presents at a Boys & Girls Club on Milwaukee's north side.
They'll go to children from families who might not be able to afford gifts this year.
U.S. Cellular reached out to the Boys & Girls clubs to find out what's on the kids' wish lists.
"I was a club kid myself, so I know how much getting a gift at a party means," said U.S. Cellular Store Manager Robert Smith. "And it means the world to be a part of a company that supports a cause just like this. So I think it's amazing, it filled my day, filled my holiday season. And hopefully I'm invited back to the party so I can get a gift, too."
Parties will be thrown at the Boys & Girls Club sites around Greater Milwaukee so that the kids will all get their presents.
If you know any "club kids," don't spoil the surprise.
