MPD: Driver seriously hurt in rollover crash near N. 17th and W. Vliet

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee police are investigating a rollover crash that happened early Friday, Sept. 2.
Police say around 12:05 a.m., a vehicle disregarded a red light near North 17th Street and West Vliet Street and collided with a second vehicle. The impact of the crash caused the second vehicle to roll on its side.
The driver and one passenger of the first vehicle fled the scene on foot. Two other passengers, a 16-year-old Milwaukee girl and 18-year-old Milwaukee woman, were transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-fatal injuries.
The driver of the second vehicle, a 28-year-old Milwaukee man, needed to be extricated. He was transported to a local hospital for treatment of serious injuries.

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- According to the Milwaukee Fire Department, a multi-vehicle crash occurred at 12:05 a.m. on Sept. 2 at the intersection of N. 17th and W. Vliet that involved two cars. One car rolled onto its side.
Ambulances were called to the scene and at least one person was transported to a local hospital with unknown injuries.
