Welcome to the holiday week! Monday is now looking like the better day to be outside than Tuesday for a few reasons. While Monday is still warm with highs in the 80s, the humidity is less and it's looking 95% dry! Temperatures will build for the holidays with 90* on the way for Tuesday and Wednesday.
The humidity took a back seat Sunday and stays low on Monday. But look at how fast it rises as we go into July 4th and 5th with tropical humidity on the way. The humidity will drop for the end of the week.
Rain chances are still in question for July 4th but the possibility is increasing. A few showers and an isolated storm or two could be possible as early as the morning hours then chances continue off and on through the rest of Tuesday afternoon and evening. While I don't think everyone will see rain for Independence Day, it will be hard to pinpoint the exact timing and location of the rain. You might want to have a backup plan as rain and storms could impact parades, cookouts and fireworks.
Wednesday still looks like the best chance for rain with scattered showers and storms likely throughout much of the day. Hopefully we can get a soaking rain with up to an inch possible.
