CUDAHY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- New video obtained by CBS 58 News shows the moment a Cudahy School District employee was arrested on school grounds.

Demetrian Carr is being charged with two felony counts of second-degree sexual assault of a child, after police say a Cudahy High School student claimed she was sexually assaulted by Carr more than once.

Cudahy Police body camera video shows the moment Carr was arrested on school property.

The criminal complaint says a Cudahy High School student came forward in December, claiming Carr had picked her up on two separate occasions after school hours in 2023 and had sex with her.

"What happened at the park Demetrian?" an investigator asked Carr. "Ugh, nothing just sat there," responded Carr.

In the interrogation room, Carr revealed he and the teen, who was 15 years old at the time, had talked on Snapchat and confirmed he had given her a ride twice.

"It was strictly just me dropping her off at home, that was it," said Carr.

Carr initially denied the claims he had sex with the minor but later admits he had been drinking and driving both times and says he couldn't remember what happened.

"I honestly don't remember doing that," said Carr. "So, it's possible it did happen, you just don’t remember?" said an investigator. "Yeah," said Carr.

After nearly an hour of talking with the detective, Carr finally admits to having sex with the teen, but claims it only happened once, not twice.

"It just happened so fast, like just one thing led to another," said Carr.

Carr has worked for the Cudahy School District as a special education paraprofessional since 2022 and before that, worked at Cudahy Middle School for around four years.

"It's really not on her, it's on me," said Carr. "I'm an adult so."

In December, the Cudahy School District said Carr was placed on administrative leave. We reached out to the district to see if any further action has been taken but did not hear back.

Carr is being held on a $50,000 cash bond.
