MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee is set for a busy October with a range of activities, from music performances to cultural festivals. Ian Thompson from Visit Milwaukee joined us on Wednesday, Oct. 2 to discuss some of the city's most notable events throughout the month.
"Holy Lift Off!" featuring flutist Claire Chase will be presented by Present Music on Thursday, Oct. 31 at the Milwaukee Art Museum. "The Hill Has Eyes 2024," an outdoor haunted house at The Rock Sports Complex, runs Fridays through Sundays, offering four frightening attractions.
The Hunting Moon Pow Wow, hosted by Potawatomi Casino Hotel from Friday, Oct. 18 to Sunday, Oct. 20, celebrates Native American culture with singing, drumming and dancing.
The Betty Brinn Children’s Museum presents "Betty BOO’s Spooktacular" on Thursday, Oct. 24, a family-friendly Halloween event requiring advance reservations.
Milwaukee Oktoberfest, from Friday, Oct. 4 to Sunday, Oct. 6 at Cathedral Square Park, will feature live German music, food, and activities with free admission.
