Walgreens at 91st and Appleton scheduled to close by Dec. 3

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee Alderman Lamont Westmoreland announced the closure of another Walgreens location Monday, Nov. 11. 

According to a press release, the store located at 5201 N. 91st Street is scheduled to close by Dec. 3. 

"Now is the time to connect with your healthcare team to seek alternative pharmacy options - whether that means transferring prescriptions to another Walgreens location, or exploring non-Walgreens pharmacies nearby," Ald. Westmoreland wrote.

The alderman wrote that he is "actively working" to bring additional pharmacy options to the area.
