Wanaki Golf Course to reopen under new ownership in spring of 2021

MENOMONEE FALLS, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Wanaki Golf Course in Waukesha County will reopen next spring under new ownership.

The deal to sell the course from the county to a group of private investors was finalized Monday, Nov. 30.

Among the improvements, the new owners say they plan to open a bar and restaurant and add dozens of new carts to the current fleet.

Waukesha County supervisors approved the sale back in June.

The county said Wanaki had operated at a loss for 10 years.
