China Lights to return Sept. 12 with ‘Magical Forest’ theme
Today was southeast Wisconsin's warmest day in nearly two weeks with highs warming into the upper 40s to low 50s.

It was Milwaukee's 243rd day this year reaching a high of 50 degrees or warmer, which ties the all-time record set back in 1994.

We'll have a chance to break that record on Monday, but this minor break from the colder weather won't last very long as highs drop into the 20s by the middle of next week behind a series of cold fronts.

Although it'll cool down again during the middle of next week, warmer than normal temperature look to return during the third week of December.

It'll be a mainly dry week outside of a little drizzle/few sprinkles Sunday night and scattered flurries on Wednesday. Download the CBS 58 Ready Weather App for the full 7 day forecast.
