Warming centers available in Kenosha County for those without power

KENOSHA COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Many residents have been left without power due to the winter storm. As a result, there will be warming centers in Kenosha County starting at 7 p.m. tonight until 8 a.m. tomorrow morning.

Officials said these warming centers are intended for a place for people to go warm up, charge their phones and other electronic devices and receive refreshments if needed.

Kenosha Deputies will also be providing security throughout the night, giving residents a safe sheltering space.

There will also be sandwiches and cots that will be provided by the American Red Cross and other organizations.
