Wauwatosa mother creates face masks modified for those deaf or hard of hearing

WAUWATOSA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Whether you wear one or not, masks have become one of the most visible symbols of the pandemic. In Wauwatosa, a quilter has taken her mastery of this protective gear to a new level for one specific group of people and the U.S. Army has taken notice.

On CBS 58 Sunday Morning Michael Schlesinger learned more about Vicki Spiering’s specially made masks for people with impaired hearing.
