WAUWATOSA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Tickets are selling out fast for the only high school theatre in Wisconsin that won the rights to perform Disney's "Frozen: The Broadway Musical."

The cast is gearing up for opening night.

"Bees will buzz. Kids will blow dandelion fuzz and I'll be doing whatever snow does in summer," said Brett Burgoyne, Wauwatosa West High School freshman, who plays "Olaf."

Olaf may not know what happens to summertime snow, but the cast of 43 knows how to work hard for what you love.

We did this contest a year ago, so it really is just a magical experience," said Charlie Hannan, Wauwatosa West senior who plays "Hans."

"Yeah, people will beat you and curse you and cheat you and every one of them's bad except you," said Benjamin Everts, Wauwatosa West senior who plays "Kristoff."

For the first time ever, there will be magic and there'll be fun for this Tosa West senior. It is his first acting gig.

"Every day I wake up and I can't believe I actually got this role," said Everts.

"And he's up here singing his heart out and having the time of his life," said Adam Steffen, Wauwatosa West High School theatre director.

"If you loved yourself the way I do, then you'd see why I can't lose you," sang Ana and Elsa.

Those cast for Ana and Elsa already have theatre creds.

"To be a lead, too, and like my favorite princess growing up, is so surreal," said Ceili Callahan, Wauwatosa West junior who plays "Ana."

"I'd say my favorite part of the show is probably "Let it Go," said Faye Muma, Wauwatosa West junior who plays "Elsa."

Credit also goes to the 50 members of the team putting together sets.

"We're in Elsa's Ice Palace, 180-feet of crystals," said Steffan, showing one of the sets.

And what about that quick costume change for Elsa?

We asked Steffen.

"How are you guys pulling that off, can you tell or is it a secret?" we asked. "I can," said Steffen. "Ready? Magic," he said.

The entire student body got a sweatshirt, just one way Tosa West's showing Disney this production of Frozen is creating community.

"So, in our lobby we are having schools from all around our district create snowflakes that are gonna be hung in the lobby by school. Tickets are on sale now. Get them while you can before they melt away, as we say," said Steffen.

The show runs from Nov. 10-18. Tickets, as of writing, were about 86% sold out. If you are interested, click here.
