State Supreme Court denies motion to hear RFK Jr. case in person, allows legal team to file written arguments

WISCONSIN (CBS 58) -- Wisconsin's Supreme Court has agreed to take up Robert F. Kennedy's appeal seeking to remove his name from the November ballot.

On Friday, Sept. 20, justices denied a request for RFK Jr. to argue his case in person. Instead, allowing his legal team to file written arguments by tomorrow at noon.

Two justices dissented from the decision, arguing the case should be heard in person because of the national significance of the case's potential.

Earlier today, the court committed to making their ruling as quickly as possible.
