The chill has returned. The temperature dropped 15 degrees in one hour Tuesday evening as the cold front rolled in. Wednesday morning we woke up to temperatures in the 30s but Thursday morning will be even colder. The National Weather Service has issued a Freeze Watch or all of southeast Wisconsin for Thursday morning with the potential for upper 20s and low 30s.
Perfect conditions for frost and freeze are expected with chilly temps, calm or light wind and a clear sky. A widespread freeze is expected with lows around 32 or colder for most areas and a frost is a near certainty.
After some of the upper 20s and low 30s Thursday morning our frost and freeze concerns will go away with 40s, 50s and even 60s expected for low temps through the beginning of next week.
