Monday was the first day in five months were high temperatures failed to reach 60 degrees and stayed in the 50s. More of those 50s for highs are on the way Tuesday and Wednesday. Some spots may not even hit 50 degrees on Tuesday. Then Wednesday morning with a nice clear sky we will likely drop into the 30s and even 20s for lows. A freeze warning has been issued for all of southeast Wisconsin from 1 AM to 9 AM.
At least a widespread frost is likely lakeside Wednesday morning with the rest of southeast Wisconsin seeing a freeze and even the potential for a killing freeze when we drop into the 20s and even the hearty plants die.
Thursday morning is also expected to be cold with lows dropping to around 30 for inland communities and the 30s near the Lake. Widespread frost with some more freeze is likely Thursday morning then we get away from frost/freeze concerns starting Friday morning into the weekend.
