Willem Dafoe, Appleton native and UWM alum, to get star on Hollywood Walk of Fame

HOLLYWOOD (CBS 58) -- Actor Willem Dafoe will be honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. 

Dafoe is originally from Appleton, Wisconsin and attended the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.

Well-known for his role as the Green Goblin in "Spider-Man," Dafoe will be honored at a ceremony on the Walk of Fame on Monday, Jan. 8 -- right after the Golden Globes. 

Dafoe is nominated for best supporting actor for his role in "Poor Things."
