Chilly Brewers Home Opener with a breeze hanging on the next few days

NOW: Chilly Brewers Home Opener with a breeze hanging on the next few days
NEXT:

The weekend was quite wet with a round of storms Friday morning then mostly dry with just a few light showers Saturday before turning stormy again on Sunday. After Friday's warmest temps of the year in the upper 70s we saw the temps drop off Saturday and Sunday with highs hovering around 40. That chill from the weekend stays with us for the Brewers home opener with highs in the low 40s. A breeze lingering during the day will make it feel even colder.

The expected first pitch temp for the Brewers Home Opener around 40 degrees is not too different from last year which was another chilly year with a first pitch temp of 39. Only 2010 when the first pitch temp was in the low 70s had the roof open at American Family Field.

The breeze today will be out of the northwest gusting to 20 mph. A breeze will linger on Tuesday out of the east and then we get ready for another big storm system for the middle of the week with the wind picking up Wednesday with gusts to 35 mph.

That storm system could bring us both snow and rain to start then switching to a thunderstorm risk. Download the CBS 58 Weather app to track the midweek storm.
