Winter is a week away, but it already feels like it!

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58)--Winter officially starts next Monday at 4:02 am.  But with temperatures primarily staying the 20s today with wind chill numbers in the teens, it already seems like it's here (at least to me!) Tuesday won't be much different. But there is a nice modification with the numbers by the end of the week.  I'm looking at a high around 40 by Friday.

In terms of precipitation, it looks fairly quiet this week.  Our next system will be, once again, on Saturday.  This time around, though, it looks more like a rain event than a snowy one. 

Of course this is five days out, so we still have a lot of forecasting to do between now and then.
