Wisconsin DNR accepting entries for 2024 State Park and Forest sticker design contest
MADISON, Wis. (CBS 58) -- High school students across Wisconsin can now submit artwork entries for the 2024 State Park and Forest vehicle admission sticker design contest.
Organized by the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, the contest is in its 33rd year and is open to public, private, parochial and homeschooled students in the state.
With a focus on outdoor recreation, animals or plants in Wisconsin, the contest allows students to showcase their artistic creativity while expressing their appreciation for the state's natural resources.
The winning design will be displayed on hundreds of thousands of cars statewide.
Vehicle admission stickers grant access to over 60 state park, forest and recreation area properties in Wisconsin. They are required for all motor vehicles entering these locations, with some state forest and trail parking areas also necessitating a sticker.
The contest materials are now available, and entries can be submitted until April 30, 2023. Rules, submission guidelines, design tips, and information about past winners can be found on the DNR's State Park and Forest vehicle admission sticker design contest webpage.
