MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- It's a dream trip for two young Milwaukee Brewers fans -- 10-year-old Evan Petersen and 13-year-old Kayden Schmidt boarded a plane Thursday morning with their families.
They're getting an all-expenses paid trip to Brewers spring training camp in Arizona, courtesy of the Brewers and Aurora Health Care.
Kayden has been treated by Aurora for a rotator cuff sports injury, and Evan is living with a form of muscular dystrophy.
They found out they'd be going during last month's Brewers On Deck event, and they're both pretty excited.
"To have warm weather and wear shorts and see all my favorite players," Evan said.
"I've liked Ryan Braun ever since I was younger and I don't really know why I liked him, but I just loved watching him play," added Kayden.
"Just seeing Kayden and her brother just kinda take it all in and the nice weather would be exciting and watching Brewers even before their season starts," said Kayden's mom, Heidi Schmidt.
The trip includes several behind-the-scenes experiences.
On Thursday, they got a look inside the plane's cockpit before takeoff.
They'll also throw out the first pitch before Sunday's Brewers preseason game.
