A boost in temperatures despite the lack of sunshine
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Green Day took over American Family Field on Saturday, Aug. 24, and one concertgoer had the chance to show off.
Eight-year-old Quinn Scardina is from Illinois, but just moved to Maryland. She traveled to Milwaukee for the concert with her grandpa.
She had a goal: to get up on stage and as you can see, it worked.
Green Day's front man, Billie Joe Armstrong, noticed her sign and brought her up to sing "Know Your Enemy," and she nailed it -- even doing a rockstar jump!
Afterward, the whole stadium started chanting her name.
Quinn's grandpa says it was a special moment.
"She's just confident with her abilities, and just performs, and I think Billie Joe [Armstrong] was surprised at how well she nailed that verse, because when she finished it, he looked surprised," said John Gay, Quinn's grandpa.
"It was just really fun hanging out with all the people, and everyone was really nice," said Quinn.
Quinn's grandpa says she likes all music, from the Ramones to Taylor Swift, and they're looking forward to more concerts together in the future.
