12-year-old shot on Milwaukee's north side; police searching for suspect

CBS 58 MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) — Milwaukee police are investigating after a 12-year-old was shot Friday evening on the city's north side.
The shooting happened just after 6:30 p.m. near North 60th Street and West Silver Spring Drive.
The child was taken to a hospital and is expected to survive.
Police are searching for the suspect or suspects. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Milwaukee Police Department or submit an anonymous tip through Crime Stoppers.
