3 people injured in overnight shooting in Racine

RACINE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Racine Police say three people were injured following an early Sunday morning shooting on Aug. 25.

Officials say they responded to the 1300 block of Douglas Ave. at around 12:10 am, where they found 2 women shot, ages 33 and 36.

The two victims were then taken to a hospital for their injuries. 

Police say soon after the incident the hospital called and reported a third victim, a 31-year-old man who had also showed up to the hospital.

All 3 victims are expected to survive. 

Police say several vehicles at the scene had also been struck by gunfire.

While on scene, CBS 58's crew discovered broken glass and shell casings.
