MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The victim was identified by the Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office Thursday as 44-year-old Keywan Davis. 

The medical examiner's report says Davis was shot while working at Exotic Smoke Shop.

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) — A 44-year-old person was killed in a shooting Wednesday morning near West Appleton Avenue and West Congress Street.

According to the Milwaukee Police Department, officers responded to the scene shortly before 11:45 a.m.

The victim died from injuries sustained in the shooting.

Detectives are investigating the circumstances leading up to the incident. No suspects have been identified.
