MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The 45-year-old victim of a July 31 stabbing has been identified by Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office as 45-year-old Abel Gonzalez.

The ME's office noted that he was found dead in an alley with multiple wounds to his body and head.

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) — A 45-year-old was killed in a stabbing Friday night on Milwaukee's south side.

According to the Milwaukee Police Department, the stabbing happened shortly before 7 p.m. near South 28th Street and Greenfield Avenue.

The victim suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police are searching for an unknown suspect or suspects.
