MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A special event for art lovers in Milwaukee.
The 5 Points Art Gallery and Studios on Port Washington Road showcases the works of prominent artists of color.
That includes Marianita Porterfield of Indiana--who weaves her artwork.
"The first time I got on a loom I was intrigued by it and the coloring I can do the changing of the coloring," Porterfield said. "The size shape I can manipulate myself and since painting wasn't really by best area of art this worked better for me"
You can see more of this exhibit and learn more about the 5 points art gallery on an upcoming episode of CBS 58 Sunday Morning
