8 people shot in 7 separate shootings in Milwaukee
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee police are investigating 7 separate shootings that injured 8 people in just over 6 hours.
According to a press release from police, the first shooting happened on Saturday, Feb. 3 around 9:45 p.m. near 95th and Brown Deer. A 16-year-old was taken to a hospital and is in serious condition.
The second shooting happened on Saturday, Feb. 3 around 9:50 p.m. near Weil and Hadley. A 16-year-old was taken to a hospital and is stable.
The third shooting happened on Sunday, Feb. 4 around 12:04 a.m. near Center and Buffum. A 34-year-old was taken to a hospital and is stable.
The fourth shooting happened on Sunday, Feb. 4 around 1:17 a.m. near Teutonia and Finn. An 18-year-old was taken to a hospital and is stable.
The fifth shooting happened on Sunday, Feb. 4 around 1:22 a.m. near 42nd and Fond Du Lac. A 28-year-old and a 26-year-old were taken to a hospital and are stable.
The sixth shooting happened on Sunday, Feb. 4 around 2:40 a.m. near Lincoln and Mound. A 33-year-old was taken to a hospital and is stable.
And the seventh shooting happened on Sunday, Feb. 4 around 3:50 a.m. near 19th and Washington. A 45-year-old was taken to a hospital and is stable.
