Wisconsin volleyball headed to NCAA Final Four for third-straight season

MADISON, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Wisconsin Badgers punched their tickets to the NCAA Final Four once again Saturday night, Dec. 11 in front of a sold-out UW Fieldhouse in Madison.

The No. 4 seed Badgers volleyball team swept Big Ten Conference rival Minnesota 25-18, 26-24, 25-22 to advance to the national semifinals for the third consecutive year and the fifth time in school history.

Wisconsin (29-3) are slotted to face No. 1 seed Louisville (32-0) in a national semifinal match Thursday in Columbus, Ohio.

Louisville advanced by defeating ACC rival Georgia Tech in four sets on Saturday.
