Boo at the Zoo adds all-day Saturdays, Spooky Safari debuts for adults at Milwaukee County Zoo
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Boo at the Zoo returns to the Milwaukee County Zoo with a new daytime option on Saturdays, along with a new adults-only event called Spooky Safari, according to zoo communications manager Megan O'Shea, who joined us on Thursday, Oct. 8.
Boo at the Zoo runs Fridays, Oct. 16 and 23 from 4:30 to 9 p.m. and Saturdays, Oct. 17 and 24 from 9:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Activities include a trick-or-treat trail, pumpkin carving demonstrations, live entertainment and pumpkin enrichment for the animals. The zoo says it extended Saturdays into the daytime to help manage crowds, safety and traffic during its front entry reconfiguration project.
Tickets start at $18 for adults and $16 for ages 3 to 12. Children 2 and under are free, and parking is included. Zoo Pass members get 15% off.
Spooky Safari is Thursday, Oct. 22 from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. for people ages 21 and older, with fire performers, a mentalist, live music, adult trick-or-treating and a costume contest. Tickets are $30 online, with parking included.
